NE Syria celebrates anniversary of August 15
This evening, activities will be held in many cities and towns in North and East Syria region to celebrate the anniversary of the August 15.
The cities of Qamishli, Tirbespiye, Çil Agha, Girkê Legê, Derik, Amuda, Tal Tamr, Darbasiyah, Hasaka, Raqqa, Kobani, Afrin and Shahba will witness this evening celebratory activities and candle lighting.
The events are held with massive popular participation, and banners were hung in the squares reading "August 15, a new resurgence towards democratization of the Middle East" and "May the leap of August 15 be blessed upon you", in addition to raising pictures of the martyr Akid.
