Bavel Talabani: Elections will be held on time
The head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Bafel Talabani, confirmed that the elections for the parliament of southern Kurdistan will be held on the scheduled date, next June 10.
During a press conference, the head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Bafel Talabani, made a statement about the parliamentary elections of southern Kurdistan scheduled to be held on June 10, and confirmed that the elections will be held on the specified date.
The Kurdistan Democratic Party announced its boycott of the elections and did not submit any lists of the names of its candidates in an effort to obstruct their holding. However, the Iraqi High Elections Commission confirms that the electoral process will take place on the specified date without delay.
