The Yazidi House in Al-Jazeera region had announced the liberation of the Yazidi girl Jani Ziyad Haider from Al-Hol camp, who was kidnapped during the attack of ISIS mercenaries on Şengal district on August 3, 2014.

Jani Ziyad Haider, from the village of Solag, Şengal district, was kidnapped by ISIS mercenaries during the mercenary attacks on the district in 2014, and she has been living in Al-Hol camp since 2019 in Sector Six.

This morning, Jani Ziyad Haidar was handed over, in the presence of members of the Committee for Abductees in the Yazidi House, in the city of Hasaka, the spokeswoman for the Women's Protection Units, Roxen Muhammad, and the leader of the Shingal resistance units, Omar Shankali.

The YPJ spokeswoman said: "Despite all massacres against the Yazidi community, the people of Şengal and the Şengal Resistance Units were able to deter all plans and genocidal attacks."

She added, "The will of the Yazidis to protect their people, regions and culture is stronger than all ISIS's genocidal attacks".

In turn, the leader of the Şengal Resistance Units, Omar Shankali, thanked all the military forces in the area, and noted that the resistance of the people and units continues after the liberation of Şengal district, saying: "We will continue our resistance by all means despite the suffering of the Yazidi community."

For her part, the member of the Yazidi House in Al-Jazeera region, Nalin Rasho, thanked all the military forces, and indicated that they managed to "liberate 3 kidnapped Yazidi women in one month.

It is noteworthy that the Women’s Protection Units liberated two other young women, (Sawsan Hassan Haider (24 years old), and Wafaa Ali Abbas (18 years) from Al-Hol camp during the second phase of the “Humanity and Security” campaign launched by the Internal Security Forces with the support of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the People’s Protection Units And the woman on the 25th of last August.
