As part of ongoing efforts by the Kurdish Women's Movement in Europe, the "Ercîn Karsan Women's Association" from Winterthur, Switzerland, sent 176 letters to the Committee Against Torture (CPT) to urge action against the isolation and torture imposed on leader Abdullah Ocalan and to call for his physical release.

The Kurdish Women's Movement in Europe launched a campaign to send letters to the Committee Against Torture (CPT) from Winterthur, Switzerland, to garner support and individual stances against the isolation and torture imposed on leader Abdullah Ocalan.

As part of this campaign, women from the "Ercîn Karsan Association" gathered in front of the central post office in Winterthur and sent 176 letters to the Committee Against Torture (CPT), urging it to act against the isolation and torture experienced by leader Abdullah Ocalan.

In a statement from the association, they clarified that the Committee Against Torture (CPT) should not remain silent in the face of the isolation and injustice practiced against leader Abdullah Ocalan. They confirmed their ongoing commitment to their struggle and efforts until his physical release is achieved.

This action reflects the dedication of Kurdish women to defending the rights of leader Abdullah Ocalan and continuing to pressure international organizations to act against the ongoing violations he faces.
