Iran warns ... Israel will regret its crimes in Syria

Ali Akbar Velayati stated to the Iranian Fars News Agency, commenting on the recent Israeli bombing of Syria, saying, "The unlawful Israeli attacks in the region cannot pass without a response."

He promises Israel that it will "regret its crimes" as it will address "the resistance in Syria and Lebanon to American and Israeli crimes," adding that "Hezbollah will destroy Israel if it attacks Lebanon."

He stressed that the "Israeli entity" is impotent and does not dare to implement its threats against Iran, and the statements of its officials in this regard are "mere propaganda."

The Syrian regime announced yesterday dawn, that its air defenses had responded to three Israeli missiles in the sky of the countryside of the capital, Damascus, while Iranian media denied the killing of a senior Iranian military official during the attacks.

Israel had vowed some time ago to turn Syria into Vietnam for Iran, as raids intensified on locations that Tel Aviv says are Iranian forces, especially after the Russian and Israeli meetings.
