Expanded meeting in Tel Tamr district

The meeting was held to explain the recent situations in the regions of northern and eastern Syria and the agreements that were made between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Russian military police after the Turkish occupation attacks on the region, targeting the civilians.

Hundreds of people, in addition to the member of the General Council of the Democratic Union Party Abdel Karim Sarokhan attended the meeting held at the center of the Martyrs’ Families Council in the district.

During the meeting, Sarokhan indicated that northern and eastern Syria entered a new stage, and said, “The battles and crisis that extend for 8 years in Syria have entered the regions of northern and eastern Syria into a new stage. The Global regimes have sought to impose their hegemony on the region, but thanks to the heroic resistance of the fighters who thwarted their endeavors, the peoples of northern and eastern Syria have proven that they will preserve their identities and work to get their gains thanks to the project of the democratic nation.”

He added in the context of his speech, “The forces that participated in the First and Second World Wars, displaced the indigenous people from their regions and worked to annihilate them. The same forces want to run their policy in our region.”

He also said that Syria had been turned into a gathering point for international differences, and concluded his speech, “Syria has become the center of the Third World War, and global capitalist regimes want to divide it among themselves and take part in them.”

Then, the participating people expressed their views on what the region was witnessing, while some questions were raised about the goal of the occupation of the attack on the region, and the goal of the world countries in its silence towards the crimes of the Turkish occupation mercenaries, and they were answered by Abdel Karim Sarokhan.
