NEWS DESK-Al-Qabas newspaper reported that the Kingdom's permanent representative to United Nations, Ambassador Abdullah Al-Muallimi, handed over a message to United Nations Secretary-General and the President of Security Council, calling on Security Council to shoulder its responsibilities in the maintenance of international security and stability and the need to hold Iran accountable for supplying Houthis with ballistic missiles

On Monday Saudi Arabia accused Iran of being behind the launch of ballistic missiles on Riyadh from Yemen, promising to respond in "appropriate time"

Arab alliance led by Saudi Arabia announced through his spokesman Turki al-Maliki that he would confirm the evidence "Iran's smuggling of missiles to Yemen," saying that the rocket fire "a serious deterioration."

The new escalation followed the launch of Houthis on Sunday seven missiles on the Kingdom. The rockets were intercepted from Saudi defenses, but an Egyptian worker was killed and three people were wounded by rocket hits on a house in Riyadh.

The latest rocket launch coincided with a visit by the Saudi crown prince to Washington, and US defense secretary last week called on him to push forward peace efforts in Yemen.
