Aleppo residents send tons of aid to Afrin people.. campaign continues

ALEPPO- After the intensification of the bombing of Turkish occupation and escalation of the aggression on Afrin canton which forced thousands of civilians and fear of the massacres against them to leave their homes and go to al-Shahba canton and Sherawa district.

Aleppo people and to confirm their support for Afrin and their readiness to do all their responsibilities towards the people amid the failure of Humanitarian Organizations and their assistance, organized a fundraising campaign and humanitarian aid coordinated by Democratic Society Movement.

Within 10 days of the start of the campaign, the aid collection committee, which oversees the campaign, sent more than 10 truckloads of tons of aid, including "food, clothing and many other living necessities."

Arab resident of Sheikh Maksoud Mohammed Khairi said "As residents of Sheikh Maksoud, we have seen that we have to stand by our people in Afrin to respond to the kindness they have helped us during our attacks, stand with us and help us."

while the citizen Jamil Mohammed pointed out that the launch of this initiative came as a step to alleviate the suffering of the displaced in light of the failure of Humanitarian Organizations. Jamil also affirmed their readiness to use all their resources to prevent a humanitarian crisis against Afrin residents.

It should be noted that the campaign to collect aid continues in Aleppo city for Afrin people.
