Health center in al-Shabba continues its  work despite limited potential

The health center inVavin  district in Afrin canton suffers from a severe shortage of medical personnel and medicines. The head of the health center appealed to the organizations to help them to provide medicines and medical equipment.

AL_SHABBA - The health center located in Vavin district at al-Shabba canton  consists of several departments: "Ambulance, Women, Interior, Dental, and Radiology and Pharmacy."

The medical center Medical Center staff and nurses work from 8 am to 4 pm, and the 24-hour aid department serves the parents.

In one month, the health center in vavin district, despite the lack of equipment and medicines at the center, treated 351 ambulances and 1,300 internal and female patients and children.More than 20 were wounded of Afrin 's people by the shelling of the Turkish occupation army and its gangs .

The head of the health center in Vavin district Ahmad Abdullah on medical cases and treatment of parents and the lack of access to medicines and medical staff, because of the lack of medicines and doctors could not address the serious cases so they have to take them out of al-Shabba canton for treatment.

He noted that there is a severe shortage of all medicines, as well as medical staff and medical supplies, in particular the doctors of surgery, nervous and bone, and so far no organization concerned specific aspects of the delivery of medicines and medical equipment to al-Shabba canton to treat patients.

Abdullah appealed to all human rights and humanitarian organizations and the Red Cross to intervene urgently to provide the necessary medicines and medical equipment to save the lives of children and women.

It is worth recalling the loss of child Maher al-Ali from the village of brutality of his life today from injuries caused by the explosion of a landmine leftover mercenaries was implanted farmland in al- Shahbba and did not allow the staff at the Medical Center to save his life.
