Fires engulf Duhok mountains due to Turkish bombardment

Roj News reported that extensive fires broke out yesterday in the Duhok mountains in Southern Kurdistan, as a result of ongoing Turkish shelling. The flames are still raging and have not been brought under control.
The shelling continues on the border villages of Southern Kurdistan, causing thousands of people to flee. The bombardment has inflicted significant damage on villages and local infrastructure, exacerbating the suffering of residents who face the dual threats of fire and forced displacement.
