The Media Center of the Internal Security Forces of NE Syria reported that a citizen was injured by Turkish occupation army fire in the Euphrates countryside. The report included footage of the injured individual receiving treatment and describing the details of the incident.

The injured person, Atallah Khaled Al-Ati, from the village of Al-Bashir in the western countryside of the occupied Girê Spî, who works as a shepherd, explained in the footage that he was shot by Turkish occupation forces from the Turkish base across from his village.

He indicated that a bullet struck his right shoulder while he was herding his sheep on the outskirts of his village.

Turkey and its mercenaries occupy several areas in Syria, including Girê Spî and its countryside. They frequently target neighboring villages with heavy artillery and machine gun fire.

At other times, they attempt to infiltrate these villages, but are met with resistance from the military councils stationed in the region. Recently, the Manbij Military Council thwarted seven infiltration attempts by mercenaries into the northern and western countryside of Manbij Canton.

Additionally, the Turkish occupation state targets other areas in the NE Syria region with drones. Recently, a drone strike targeted a vehicle inside a prison wall in the Al-Fursan neighborhood of Qamishlo, resulting in the martyrdom of an administrative member of the Internal Security Forces.
