The General Command of the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria issued a statement regarding the attack carried out by a Turkish occupation drone that targeted a vehicle of the Internal Security Forces in the al-Fursan neighborhood of Qamishlo.

The statement mentioned that the Turkish occupation army targeted a vehicle belonging to our forces at one of the detention points for those arrested for criminal offenses and drug crimes in the al-Fursan neighborhood of Qamishlo at "1:30 PM on Tuesday, September 3." As a result of this targeting, one of our administrative comrades in Qamishlo was martyred.

The statement mentioned that "this targeting is a clear attempt to create chaos within the detention center and assist criminals in staging a riot inside, allowing them to escape."

It added, "But the vigilance of our forces has greatly contributed to preventing any obstruction or state of chaos at the detention point."

"The targets of the Turkish occupation aim to distract our forces from fulfilling their duties towards the community, and all members of our people must express their angry and outraged stance against the terrorist actions of the Turkish occupying state in our regions, where our people’s resentment and anger grow every time the Turkish occupation targets our land."

The Internal Security Forces stated in their announcement that they are "continuing their work under all circumstances, more than ever, to thwart the plans of the fascist Turkish occupation and to establish security and stability in our regions."
