The Syrian Democratic Forces arrested two mercenaries from ISIS cells in the countryside of Hasakah, who came from the areas occupied by Turkey, to carry out terrorist acts.

The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces issued a statement today announcing the arrest of two ISIS mercenaries, which stated:

"As part of its ongoing security operations to pursue the remnants of the terrorist organization "ISIS"; the military operations teams (TOL) of our forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces, in cooperation with the International Coalition forces, carried out two simultaneous security operations yesterday, Sunday, in the countryside of Hasakah, targeting the arrest of two terrorists from the cells of the terrorist organization "ISIS".

According to the media center, the first operation took place in the village of "Al-Arisha" in the countryside of Hasaka, "where a tight security cordon was imposed by the forces around the location of the mercenary called "Muhammad Muhammad" whose origin from the village of "Al-Mar'iyah" in the countryside of Deir-ez-Zor, and they were able to arrest him.

While the second operation took place in the village of "Abyad" in the countryside of Hasaka, and the forces were able to arrest the mercenary called "Hussein Musa" whose origin from the same village.

SDF confirmed in its statement that its forces' investigations and intelligence services were following their movements, as they entered the region of North and East Syria coming from the areas occupied by the Turkish occupation state, to carry out terrorist acts, especially detonating booby-trapped motorcycles in the city of Hasaka.

The media center explained that the areas occupied by the Turkish occupation state constitute a safe haven for ISIS elements and leaders, and said: "A number of senior ISIS leaders and leaders were killed in it.
