Since this afternoon, the occupied cities of Bab, Azaz and Afrin have been witnessing protests against the Turkish presence in response to racist practices against Syrians inside Turkey, in particular the attack on Syrian families last Sunday in the city of Kayseri, and the protest against the recent rapprochement between Ankara and Damascus.

According to sources, protesters blocked the main road in the city of al-Bab in front of a number of Turkish trucks and attacked and damaged them, as shown in videos on social media.

Other footage also showed protesters bringing down the Turkish flag from a Turkish “Civil Registry Building” in the city of Azaz, and protesters expelling employees of the Turkish post office in the occupied town of Rajo.

In the city of Afrin, mercenary activists reported that dozens of demonstrators demanding the departure of the Turkish governor from the city were fired upon, in front of the “Seraya” building and the city’s municipality, without information about casualties.
