PKK calls on Kurds, Kurdistan people to unite against treason

The Foreign Relations Committee of the PKK issued a statement regarding the KDP's cooperation with the Turkish occupying state, stating that the KDP exhibits betrayal towards Kurdish interests and called for unity against its treachery and collusion. 

The statement from the Foreign Relations Committee read:

"The conspiring Kurdistan Democratic Party has developed its dirtiest claims and schemes, openly betraying Kurdish interests. The fascist AKP and MHP regimes are committing genocides against the Kurdish people, displacing them from their lands, and engaging in immoral and inhumane practices against the most sacred values, including the remains of martyrs and their cemeteries. The KDP has aligned its fate with such a regime, fighting against the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas, thus losing its character. It is undoubtedly the KDP that guides the Turkish occupying state in Southern Kurdistan and paves the way for occupation. The pillaging of Kurdistan's nature, the displacement of people from their lands, and the theft and destruction of villages are all results of the shared mentality between the KDP and the Turkish state.

The KDP does not only cooperate with Turkey militarily but also justifies Turkey's occupational attacks on Southern Kurdistan. It shamelessly holds meetings with various parties and uses all its diplomatic opportunities within this framework.

With its false claims, media deception, agenda changes, and shielding of criminals, the KDP is attempting to tarnish the image of the PKK. Our people know well that the PKK is a social, democratic, ecological, and freedom-seeking movement. They also understand the KDP's male-dominated mentality and its opposition to women, environment and nature. The KDP shamelessly blames the PKK for the fires in Hawler and Kerkuk, but it has been proven with evidence and documents that these fires were started with the complicity of Turkish intelligence and the Parastin organization. The Turkish occupying state bombards and burns the villages and forests of Southern Kurdistan daily, and the KDP is the other face of these practices.

The so-called Kurdistan Regional Security Council, which is actually the Barzani family's security council, deliberately claims that the PKK is responsible for the assassination attempt on KDP official Akram Saleh. We clearly reject this baseless and unjust accusation. Following this statement by the KDP, if any incident befalls our comrades in Southern Kurdistan, the KDP will undoubtedly be held responsible.

We and our people know well that Turkish intelligence and the Parastin organization have assassinated many revolutionaries and patriots at different times in various locations in Southern Kurdistan. The Kurdish people also know that the perpetrators of these crimes fled to Hawler. It is very clear that the Parastin organization is responsible for these murders.

The Kurdish people are at a critical historical juncture. All patriotic members, intellectuals, academics, Kurdish parties, and organizations must certainly unite on a nationalist line against the treacherous collaboration of the KDP. In this context, our people must understand well that only in this way they can defend the existence, freedom, and achievements of the Kurdish people.”
