Member of Damascus forces killed in Latakia countryside
An attack by Turkish occupation mercenaries on the northern Latakia countryside resulted in the death of a member of the Damascus government forces.
A member of the Damascus government forces, originally from the city of Homs, was killed following an attack by the "Ahrar al-Sham" mercenaries on the Abu Asaad hill front in the northern Latakia countryside, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
With this incident, the number of those killed in ground attacks within the so-called "de-escalation zone" has risen to 261 since the beginning of 2024.
