A central demonstration took place in Al-Karama Square in the city of As-Suwayda, with calls for a political solution and the application of UN resolutions related to resolving the political crisis, as per Resolution 2254.

During the demonstration, protesters raised banners demanding political change and reaffirming the peaceful nature of the movement, with slogans such as "I deserve a system, not a gang of thieves," "I have the right to live with my children," "We will continue—don't kill, so your death won't become a joke," "My identity is Syrian, down with the occupiers."

Chants included "We are a people who will not be humiliated," "One, one, the Syrian people are one united," and "I have the right to live in safety and peace in a state governed by law."

For about a year now, As-Suwayda has witnessed ongoing daily protests that initially began due to the deteriorating economic situation. With these grievances being ignored, the protests have evolved into demands for freedom, the "overthrow of the regime," the release of detainees, and the implementation of international resolutions related to the Syrian crisis.

Since the start of the movement on August 17, 2023, in the (Seer) Square in the center of As-Suwayda, activists have documented daily protest sit-ins in the square, which participants now refer to as Al-Karama Square.
