A local source from occupied Afrin reported that Turkish occupation mercenaries, "the Military Police," kidnapped the citizens: Khalil Akram Khinjik, Ahmad Abu Khalil, and Hussein Kamouna, all from the village of Nasriya in the countryside of Jindires, in occupied Afrin.

According to the information, the mercenaries took them to one of their headquarters in the city and demanded their families pay a ransom of 2,000 US dollars in exchange for their release.

The areas of Syria occupied by Turkey and its mercenaries are witnessing a lack of security and crimes against those remaining, including murder, looting, robbery, and kidnappings for ransom, as well as infighting among mercenaries over the properties of displaced people.

Most recently, the village of Kakhira has been subjected to a continuous siege, cutting off the remaining residents from the outside world. This follows the events of September 15, when the mercenaries kidnapped residents of the village, assaulted protestors against the abductions with live bullets and beatings, resulting in the injury of more than 20 people.
