25 killed in Syria through one day
Twenty-five people were killed in Syria in the past 24 hours, including 17 civilians whose remains were found in a mass grave, and others in separate incidents.

According to documentation from the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, two former members of the Baathist regime forces were killed by unidentified gunmen in a car in the al-Hasaniyat neighborhood near al-Bahra in central Hama.
Another young man was killed on the al-Sahwa-Um Walad road in the eastern Daraa countryside after being directly targeted by gunmen on a motorcycle.
In Aleppo, a former Hezbollah member was shot dead in the al-Jamila neighborhood. A mass grave containing the remains of 17 civilians who were slaughtered with knives by the National Defense Militia during the Ba'ath regime's rule was found near the village of al-Mukhtariyya in the northern Homs countryside.
In the northern Latakia countryside, a young man was shot dead by unknown gunmen in front of his home in the village of Beit Sabira.
In the Homs countryside, a young man was shot dead by Damascus security forces in the village of al-Masida in Talkalakh for refusing to stop. His body was dragged and dumped near the Na'ara Bridge.
In Homs, a woman and a young man were killed after a family was shot while sitting in front of their home in the Furn al-Nazihin neighborhood.
These incidents come amid increasing chaos and insecurity in areas controlled by the Damascus government.
