1,068 Israeli incursions into Syria Since Fall of Baathist regime

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented 1,068 Israeli incursions into Syrian territory since the fall of the Baathist regime, including 594 incursions in 2026, in addition to 78 Israeli attacks on Syrian territory.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented 1,068 Israeli incursions into Syrian territory since the fall of the Baathist regime on December 8, 2024, through today

According to the Observatory, the incursions have been concentrated in southern Syria and accompanied by searches, arrests, bulldozing operations, and the construction of fortifications and military positions.

The Observatory said it documented 460 incursions in 2025, compared with 594 incursions from the beginning of 2026 through September 19, in addition to 14 incursions in December 2024.

Since the beginning of 2026, the Observatory has also documented 78 Israeli attacks on Syrian territory, including six airstrikes and 72 ground attacks targeting weapons and ammunition depots, headquarters, facilities and vehicles.
