A university student in Homs was killed after being shot during a fight between a group of students, including students from the city of Sweiyda.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a group of students from Sweiyda stormed the dormitories for reasons yet to be revealed, coinciding with the shooting, resulting in the death of one student.
Security forces from the Damascus government also arrived to defuse the tensions around the university dormitories, but no arrests have been reported so far.
