2 members of National Defense Forces killed and injured in Deir ez-Zor
A landmine explosion in the Bishry desert in the Deir ez-Zor countryside led to the death and injury of two members of the National Defense Forces.
A member of the National Defense Forces was killed and another was injured, as a result of the explosion of a land mine left from the war on a motorcycle while they were searching for truffles in the Bishry desert in the western countryside of Deir ez-Zor. The injured person was transferred to the hospital to receive treatment.
The death toll during military operations within the Syrian desert, according to Observatory reports, has reached 225 dead since the beginning of 2024. They are: 35 citizens, 166 from Damascus government forces and groups loyal to it, and 24 ISIS mercenaries at the hands of Damascus government forces.
