Reporters Without Borders calls for immediate release of journalist Suleiman Ahmed
Reporters Without Borders (RSF) condemned the sentencing of Roj News editor Suleiman Ahmed and called for his immediate release.
The Dohuk Court of the Democratic Party authorities in S. Kurdistan sentenced journalist and editor of Roj News Agency Suleiman Ahmed to 3 years in prison, in a decision that sparked widespread controversy among the media and human rights circles.
Reporters Without Borders condemned the sentence handed down to journalist Ahmed and called for his immediate release.
