Turkish Police put pressure on voters in Bakur Kurdistan

The presidential and parliamentary elections has begun in Bakur Kurdistan (Northern Kurdistan) and Turkey since 08:00 today.

Usually, soldiers and police officers show "Document 142" and hand it over to the schools in which they vote, during the elections, but the soldiers and police who were assigned to vote in the schools of Jazir district in Sharakh, the document was returned to them after it was stamped, it was announced that they did not receive these documents in order to vote with them again, according to the Mesopotamia Agency in Turkey.

Police officers stormed Atatürk Elementary School in Hazakh district with their weapons, while in the village of Malaka Shanti in Sharakh district, one of the soldiers tried to vote even though his name was not on the list, then his vote was canceled after the left-wing Green Party observer and the ballot box supervisors objected.

In one of the villages in the district of Slubi, the Justice and Development Party tried to enter unsealed papers. It was also reported that a voter, who did not wish to be named, reported that people close to the AKP are pressuring their relatives and villagers to vote publicly according to the same source.
