Nuri Mahmud: ready for any onslaught with new strategies

In an interview on the latest threats made by Turkey against NES, ANHA met YPG's, Nuri Mahmud, who said they were ready for any possible attack on the region.

Mahmud said the position taken by both Russia and the U.S. for a solution is shameful up to date, 'Russia shows its force via latest manouvers creating an image that it protects  Syria in the face of threats made by Erdogan but the solution does lie in a democratic solution to the crisis not via military bids''. 

Mahmud went on to say that the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria is the best model for the Syrian Crisis to be solved, laying stress on the necessity of discussions be held on democratic ways.  

On claims made on a Turko-Russian bargain regarding Kobane '' we have always said that Russia is a power that ought to play its role publically and democratically, it ought to find a solution as a guarantor. What happens in Afrin is obvious, the scenario is possible between the Turkish occupation state and Russia on Kobane, but up to date we have ot been informed formally''.

YPG's confirmed Peoples' Protections Units, the YPG, and Women's Protection Units, the YPJ, as well the Syrian Democratic Forces, SDF, fought and struggled to give protection to the values advocated by the revolution based on the legitimate right to defence'' we, YPG, PYJ and SDF, established on the ground in the middle of our community for dignity, values and goals of revolution be preserved, we have got experienced, we fought ISIS, Qaeda and other terrorist groups supported by AKP-MHP fascism''. Mahmud went on to say after Afrin, Sere Kaniye and Gire Spi we will be victorious in any coming battles, air raids on those mentioned areas were tense there was no balance in power between us and the Turkish occupation army that has highly advanced technologies. All in all, our forces are ready to stand up to Turkish army and to preserve values and principles adopted by the revolution''.

YPG's indicated that their mere goal is seeking a solution not engaging in wars but on imposed they have the right to self defence and to protect their people and land to attain victory.

Nuri Mahmud noted that after the resistance performed in 2012 in Sere Kaniye the reality was shown on the ground that Qaeda and Nusra were affiliated with the so-called Free Syrian Army, then it was Kobane where victory was attained. Now it is the turn of AKP-MHP reality to be shown.

The people of Rojava and North eastern Syria made great sacrifices for preserving dignity and self protection, and attaining the values advocated by the revolution, and repelled terror, this people well show and do whatever necessary to stand up to Erdogan that seeks to revive Ottoman Empire. YPG, PYJ and SDF emanated from the will of society. This will gives us impetus to be ready for a better and happier life'', he concluded.
