The attacks of the occupying Turkish state on Başûr (Southern Kurdistan) and the legitimate defense areas will continue since last April 23^rd. The Turkish army was defeated by the guerrilla resistance and began to use chemical weapons against the guerrilla fighters and the villages of Başûr (Southern Kurdistan).

The international community is silent in the face of the attacks of the Turkish state

Citizen Kola Jaafar referred to the attacks of the Turkish state, and said, "Just as the occupying Turkish state used chemical weapons against civilians in Afrin, Girê Spî/ Tel-Abyed and Serêkaniyê/ Ras al-Ain, it is now using them against Kurdistan Guerrilla. The use of these weapons is internationally prohibited. However, the Turkish state moves contrary to international rules, and these weapons are launched the attacks are before the eyes of public opinion and the international community. The international community and human rights organizations act according to their interests."

Kola Jaafar stated that the guerrilla is the guarantee of the liberation of Kurdistan, and continued, "The guerrilla and all freedom fighters sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the Kurdish people, and if the guerrilla is fighting today in those mountains, this is for the freedom and rights of the Kurdish people. That is why the Turkish state uses chemical weapons and commits crimes against them." We, the people of Afrin, too, will not remain silent in the face of these attacks, nor will we stand without a position."

Citizen Hussein Helo also condemned the Turkish state's attacks on Guerrilla and the Freedom Mountains, and said, "Although the use of chemical weapons is prohibited internationally, unfortunately, the Turkish state uses them against the Kurds in front of the world's eyes. The failure to take an international position justifies the attacks of the Turkish occupation."

In conclusion, Hussein Helo called on the international community and human rights organizations to show an immediate position and prevent the Turkish state from using chemical weapons.
