​​​​​​​Kidnapped inside Turkish jails narrates his story with bitterness

The atrocities of the Turkish occupation had been practiced, but in many ways against remaining indigenous people in the occupied canton of Afrin, and it is still continuing till this moment.

Turkish occupation and its mercenaries continue to commit the most egregious crimes and grave violations against civilians since the occupation of the occupied canton of Afrin and the displacement of most of its inhabitants to the al-Shahba canton on March 18^th, 2018.

27 days inside a Turkish intelligence prison in the city of Kilis

Speaking to ANHA, the 25-year-old man from occupied Afrin refused to reveal his name and face for security reasons. "In the last moments after the occupation of the city of Afrin and the entry of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries into it on March 18, 2018, I was abducted by the mercenaries of Sultan Murad's squad in the centre of the occupied city of Afrin, on the pretext that I was a fighter in the ranks of the People's Protection Units."

He continues "Sultan Murad's mercenaries took me to the Turkish Intelligence Centre. In their turn, they took me first to the village of Hoor Kilis, in the district of Sur'an, in the area of Azaz, on the Syrian-Turkish border, and then to the Turkish Intelligence Centre (MIT) in the Turkish city of Kilis."

B,H asserted that some 10 citizens lost their lives in prison, after spending a year in isolation, and then became a cell with dozens of kidnapped.

The young man explained that the causes of the kidnapped' loss of their lives were severe torture, the spread of diseases and dirt in the cell and the smell of moisture, as well as the lack of food in the underground prison, which was a basement.

 (B,H) stressed that most of those who have lost their lives have been infected with tuberculosis, untreated, and when news of the poor conditions of the patients, they say, "You are lying to get you out of prison, but your fate is to die here, and after they have lost their lives they believe that our health is bad."

Young people noted the great contradiction as they did, saying, "Despite the prevalence of diseases, dirt and stench in the dungeon, a group of Turkish intelligence (MIT) is asking about our situation and saying," The most important thing here is to maintain public and physical hygiene and protect yourselves from diseases and epidemics. "

The young (B,H) asserts that beside their cell there was a cell in which more than 35 Kurdish women from the occupied Afrin were abducted by Sultan Murad's mercenaries.

The young man explained that women were subjected to the most egregious forms of torture by mercenaries, "they were screaming due to severe torture.”

 (B,H) asserted that "two girls were set on fire by the immoral acts of mercenaries in prison against women, more than 35 of whom were women. One girl lost her life and the other was taken to Turkish hospitals without being able to know her fate later."

On the other hand, the young man says that "mercenaries were coming to the women's cell, sitting in it for long hours of the night and taking food with them to provoke them."

Three years and two months later, the young man (H,B) was able to pay 8 million Syrian pounds after negotiating with them because they were asking him to pay 10,000 United States dollars, so that he could get out of the al-Ra’i town prison and transfer him to the military detective headquarters in the village of Katma, which belongs to the Shara district of occupied Afrin, the mercenaries of the "Jahbh Shammiya."

The young man explained that the mercenaries of the Jabha Shammiya, led by Major Bashar and his assistant Abu Abd, told him, "We helped you out and got you out of prison, and you were abducted by a group of the Free Army during the liberation of Afrin allegedly," and then turned into the military court in the mercenary-occupied city of Azaz (Jamal al-Ashqar); In order to investigate him, he remained there for four months and later moved to the former Mahrata prison on the road of the village of Mahrata, which belongs to the centre of the occupied city of Afrin.

He spent almost five months in Mahrata prison to be released after being forced to pay 3,000 and 200 Turkish lire.

After leaving prison, the young man (H,B) spent about 21 days in the center of the occupied city of Afrin, stating that they had become more like Turkish cities after changing their infrastructure and changing the city's landmarks, noting the large circulation of Turkish lira in the markets and preventing the circulation of Syrian lira in the area.

He fled the occupied city of Afrin and managed to reach the district of Shahba a week ago. He now lives in a village in Shahba district.
