Palestine pays price of Ottoman betrayal, while Erdogan deceives Palestinians

The deserts located between the Altai Mountains in the east and the Caspian Sea in the west in Central Asia, the original home of the Turks from which "Qai" tribe migrated to the pastures northwest of Armenia, near the city of Khalat, when the Mongols led by Genghis Khan captured Khurasan. This tribe left Khalat area in 1229 under the pressure of the military events witnessed by the region because of the wars raised by Sultan Jalal al-Din al-Khwarizmi and landed in the basin of the Tigris River.

Then began to occupy the region and used the Islamic religion as a claim for expansion, but committed many massacres against the peoples of the region and participated in several agreements that the people of the Middle East and North Africa are still paying its price till today.

The beginning was from Palestine, which is the first issue of the Arabs and is currently used by Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for self-advertising among Muslims and to show that they are "the Ottomans and Turks" are those who seek to liberate the Palestinian people.

The Israeli presence inside the Palestinian territories was not merely a coincidence but a long-planned plan in which Britain participated and facilitated the Ottoman state's implementation by allowing the Jews to purchase land as fallow land. This plan began from the beginning of the 1800s until the declaration of the establishment of Israel in 1948 after the declaration of the end of the British Mandate of Palestine at the end of 1947.

The British Jews began the era of Jewish settlement in Palestine by the wealthy Jewish Moses Montefiore in 1835, there were about 1500 persons and in 1840 the British Prime Minister had sent the Palmerston to his ambassador in Astana, asking him to actively follow up his request from the Ottoman Sultan to invite Jews to go to Palestine, and that is what had happened, as the Jewish population rose from 1,500 to 10,000. As soon as the British mandate ended, they numbered 605,000 Jews.

This stage witnessed the influx of Jews into the occupied territories. The purchase of the fallow land for money was approved by the Ottomans, followed by the establishment of a series of banks in the region to become an economic resource aimed at strengthening the Israeli presence in the Arab region, especially Palestine. Moses Montefiore did not stop at this point, but established "agricultural settlements" in Galilee and Yaffa within the concept of commercial investment with the approval and blessing of the Ottoman Empire.

Montefiore obtained an Ottoman decree at the time allowing him to purchase land for the establishment of the first Israeli residential neighborhood under Israeli administration and supervision, known as the Montefiore district of Jerusalem in 1854, making him receive foreign privileges in Palestine to witness Palestine's high number of Jews within it to reach after the establishment of the neighborhood to 12 thousand as a result of migration from Western countries.

Palestine during the era of the Turkish Union and Progress

The period of Ottoman Sultan Abdul Hamid II was the decisive blow to the Palestinian people because it clearly witnessed paving the way to Israeli interventions in the country, and here highlights the role of the leader of "World Zionist movement" Theodore Herzl and his attempts to persuade Sultan Abdul Hamid to give up the land of Palestine for the Jews, despite the rejection of sultan Abdul Hamid to this request, but he opened the roads to the immigration of Jews to Palestine.

This period witnessed a number of changes. The influx of emigrants to Palestine was active. The World Zionist Organization and the Jewish National Fund were formed in Europe, which contributed to the completion of emigration to Palestine through the purchase of land and the establishment of settlements. Despite the knowledge of Sultan Abdul Hamid, but Abdul Hamid was committing massacres against the Arabs who revolted against the Ottoman occupation of their country.

The situation worsened by the coup of the Union and progress and the promotion of Sultan Abdul Hamid in 1908, and overthrew them and took over the reins of Ottoman rule, which made this association, which was founded by Masons, the Jewish presence in Palestine was a reality in 1910.

In 1920, the Ottoman Empire signed the Treaty of "Sever" and abandoned Palestine in favor of the British Mandate. Accordingly, Britain declared the Mandate of Palestine in 1920, in preparation for its official extradition to the Jews.

During the era of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the Ottoman caliphate ended and Ataturk became the sole ruler of the state's decisions. His foreign minister, Ismat Lozan, signed the 1922 Treaty of Lausanne, which granted Turkey independence in return for the abolition of the Ottoman caliphate, the expulsion of the Caliph, the confiscation of his funds and the declaration of secular state, Palestine has been subjected to the British who implemented their schemes

Palestine and Safar Berlk

Zuhair Abdul Majid Al-Fahoum writes in his book "Palestine Victim and Executioners" a part of the Turkish-Ottoman crimes against the Palestinian people and concludes a chapter entitled "Safar Berlk," in which he recounts one of the tragedies suffered by Palestinians and others because of the Turkish forces that take Palestinian food and goods.

He said, "Doubtlessly, the most serious situation faced by the people of the region was the duty of supporting the Turkish forces stationed in the region at a time when they were in dire need of those who supported them and affords their daily needs to survive. The first tragedy was the appointment of Ahmad Jamal Pasha as military commander and general governor of the region after the government granted him unlimited powers. He declared martial law and acted under emergency regulations.

Haroun Hashim Rashid tells in his book "Sailing without Beaches, "how the Ottoman authorities forced his father, family and other Palestinians to leave Gaza city during the Safar Berlk.

Turkey is the first Muslim country which recognize the establishment of Israel

After the declaration of the establishment of Israel on the land of Palestine in 1948, Turkey was among the first Muslim countries to recognize Israel in 1949, less than a year after the declaration of Israel.

Turkey was eager to conclude agreements and understandings with Israel after its recognition, to begin the stage of secret visits, especially during the era of Israeli Prime Minister David Ben Gurion, who visited Ankara in secret in 1958 and meeting with then-President Adnan Menderes, where an agreement was reached on the basic rules of the relationship between the two sides, and the result of these agreements was the migration of 34,000 Turkish Jews to Palestine.

After the tripartite aggression against Egypt in 1956 and under the pressure of the Turkish people, the Turkish authorities were forced to withdraw their embassy from Tel Aviv and became represented by Israel as second secretary. In 1983, diplomatic relations peaked again, as Turkey reduced its economic dealings with Arab countries and transferred its funds and investments to Israel, making the Israeli economy peak in recovery. After this period, there was a tidal wave in the relations between Turkey and Israel, until the AKP came to power in 2002, with relations returning to a new peak between the two sides.

Erdogan shakes hands with Sharon who committed massacres against Palestinians

What the current Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan did, was an unprecedented betrayal as a result of his malicious policy and trading in homeland to achieve his interests. Erdogan visited Israel when he was a prime minister on 1 December 2005, he met with Israeli President Moshe Katsav, Foreign Minister Silvan Shalum and Prime Minister Ariel Sharon.

Immediately after his arrival, Erdogan went to Israeli President Moshe Katsav's headquarter in the Israeli-controlled territories of Jerusalem and visited the Yad Vashem memorial to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust in World War II.

When Erdogan met with Ariel Sharon in Jerusalem, Sharon welcomed him and said, "Welcome to Jerusalem, our holy city, the capital of Israel." But Erdogan smiled at Sharon and showed no reaction in confirming his approval of Sharon's speech.

Not only that, but Erdogan also sacrificed Gaza, and the international demands to lift the siege on it, after the incident of the Marmara ship, his government, after several rounds of negotiations in a number of European cities, had issued an agreement to normalize relations with Israel in 2016, after years of tension following Israeli commandos killing 10 Turkish activists were aboard the Marmara ship, which was trying to reach the besieged Gaza Strip in 2010.

In the normalization agreement, Turkey signed the text of the agreement, which was written at the end of "Jerusalem the capital of Israel and Ankara, the capital of Turkey."

The Turkish ambassador's remarks about his country's reluctance to transfer the US embassy to Jerusalem in an interview with i24NEWS in January 2017, he said, "We can only hope that the transfer of the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, which New American President Donald Trump had revealed, will not hurt prospects for peace. "It is up to them to conduct their calculations."

Strong economic and military relations

The military talks between Turkey and Israel began in 1955. In 1958, the first actual steps were taken by the two countries. Turkey bought an Israeli arms deal in 1974. The first joint attack and treachery against the Palestinian people occurred in 1982 when Israel invaded Lebanon. It is coordinated between the two parties to determine the resistance fighters in the PLO and the Kurdish and Armenian forces supporting the PLO.

1996 had witnessed the fatal blow against the Palestinian resistance during the visit of the Turkish president, Suleiman Demirel, to Israel where he announced the results of a meeting between Turkish Deputy Chief of Staff Cevik Bir and military leaders in Israel to conclude an agreement between the two sides.

Among the terms of the agreement, Israel provides Turkey with photographs of spy satellites on the locations of the Kurds in Syria, Iraq and Turkey. In return, Turkish forces provide information on the Palestinian resistance with the aim of hitting both sides.

Turkey has signed several agreements with Israel, including agreements on defense industry cooperation and free trade. In 1998, Turkish, Israeli and US naval forces conducted joint exercises in the Mediterranean Sea, and Israel is now in charge of upgrading Turkish tanks and aircrafts.

Erdogan seeks through speeches to win the feelings of the Palestinians

From the very beginning of entering the political arena in Turkey, Erdogan worked to try to win the feelings of the Turks and Muslims with his slogans contrary to his actions, worked hard as a politician described him "fills the world and occupies people in every occasion, he exists" he likes rhetoric and uses emotional words.

Erdogan, who said "we sense the feelings of Salahaddin al-Ayyubi as he advanced towards Jerusalem" to play as usual on the pain of the Palestinians, exploited the Palestinian cause as slogans and intimidation in the media despite the flourishing of the Turkish-Israeli economic relations, in spite of what the Turkish government had promoted.

In the period when Turkey said it had cut ties with Israel, the trade balance between the two countries was rising. The Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronoth revealed how Erdogan was escalating his media offensive against Israel following the events of the Marmara ship, while Erdogan's eldest son Ahmed Barak Erdogan), did not stop even during the so-called "crisis of Turkish-Israeli relations" In this context, the newspaper revealed the continuation of Erdogan's son to conclude commercial deals with Israel during the last three years.

Erdogan has used the Palestinian issue to cover up his interventions in the Arab countries. Observers believe that Erdogan has false slogans and exploited the Jerusalem crisis to express his anger at the American president and that Erdogan sees Israel as the main corridor of funds and global markets, while Israel considers Turkey a key and strategic location to control the Middle East.

The construction companies that have been building Israeli settlements on the Palestinian territories since the 1990s are Turkish companies, such as the Turkish construction firm "Yilmaz-Lar", which was extended in Israel in 2002 under an agreement between the Israeli authorities and its Turkish counterpart.
