Environment Authority provides a statement regarding the fabrication of fires in Afrin's forests

The Environment Authority in Afrin and al-Shahba canton condemned the fabrication of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries for fires in the forests of Afrin.

The Environment Authority in Afrin and Al -Shahba canton made a statement about the fabrication of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries for fires in the forests of Afrin.

The statement condemned the violations of the Turkish state, its mercenaries, and its practices against the people of Afrin and its nature, and said: "Protecting the environment and preserving nature is a duty of everyone, but the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries destroy the environment and burn nature in front of the attention of the whole world."

The statement indicated that fabricating fires in the forests is a crime and continued by saying: "Since the occupation of Afrin and until now, half a million olive trees and more than 21 million trees of various items have been cut."

At the end of the statement, the Environment Authority called on the relevant organizations not to be silent about the violations of the Turkish state and its mercenaries, and to hold criminals and those responsible for these violations accountable.
