ISIS cell dismantled in al-Hol camp

The Internal Security Forces of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria dismantled an ISIS cell in the al-Hol camp and arrested its seven members.

The Media Center of the Internal Security Forces of NE Syria reported today that the forces captured seven ISIS operatives in the al-Hol camp, who were working as a cell.

It was stated: "The General Security Services and our special forces, HAT, carried out a significant security operation on Wednesday, July 31. They raided several locations within the al-Hol camp.

The operation followed thorough monitoring and analysis of information conducted by the General Security Services, after suspecting a group of individuals of being affiliated with ISIS and working as a cell for the organization.

After confirming all the information, the security operation was executed by our special forces, HAT, which managed to raid seven different locations within the camp and arrested seven members of the cell.

Our forces have begun initial investigations with the detainees, which have confirmed that the cell members were planning to carry out terrorist activities within the camp.”
