The "Endurig Security" operation launched by the Internal Security Forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces, and the Women's Protection Units on November 6 continues to inspect the al-Hol camp after combing and searching vast areas of the southern and northern countryside of al-Hol city. The first phase of the operation, which involved combing the rural and desert areas, has been completed, and the second phase of the operation is now focused on inspecting al-Hol camp.
During the ongoing operation for five days, the forces have, in a preliminary tally, managed to arrest 73 mercenaries from ISIS cells, in addition to seizing a quantity of weapons and ammunition, as well as military supplies, and discovering two trenches for hiding weapons and mercenaries within the camp.
In the operation, which involved female fighters from the Women's Protection Units, some of whom are of Arab component, they highlighted the importance of these operations in terms of timing and execution.
The fighter Beritan Diri from the city of al-Bukamal described the progress of the "Enduring Security" operations as successful, continuing to comb vast areas of al-Hol countryside. She indicated that the forces managed to arrest many mercenaries and confiscate weapons during the combing inside the camp.
She continued: "We found weapons and equipment with the families of ISIS mercenaries, in addition to spotting trenches that were to be used for escaping the camp or for communicating with mercenaries outside."
The fighter Beritan confirmed that the operations are progressing thanks to the female fighters who represent the women who were persecuted and deprived by ISIS mercenaries.
The fighter Judy from Deir ez-Zor agreed with Beritan regarding the results of the operations so far, saying: "We have achieved good results through the great coordination between the participating forces from all military powers and the significant role played by the female fighters in limiting the spread of ISIS's extremist ideology."
She affirmed, saying: "We, the Arab female fighters, continue to work until we achieve the results planned by the operations room and spread security and peace in the region."
Meanwhile, fighter Judy Zagros from al-Hol indicated that she joined the Enduring Security Operations Room due to the crimes she witnessed by ISIS against women during their occupation of the region.
She confirmed that the Women's Protection Units and the rest of the military forces continue to fulfill their promise to all the peoples of the region by capturing the mercenaries, repelling all attacks, and spreading security and peace in the area.
