Several areas in Bradost, S. Kurdistan, were heavily bombed last night by Turkish warplanes, causing large fires in forests and agricultural lands.

According to Roj News Agency, local sources reported that "the bombing was carried out by two Turkish warplanes and continued until the morning hours. The bombing resumed with the same intensity shortly before, leading to continued fires and increased damage."

The agency reported that "the fires caused by the bombing inflicted significant damage on vast areas of forests and agricultural lands in Bradost. The targeted areas include Darista, Kam Kora, Mount Rubia, Ruwala, and Bankost, located within the Bradost region of the Sidakan sub-district in Hawler province."

The report confirmed that this intense bombing led to the destruction of a large part of the vegetation in the area, as Turkish warplanes continue to intensively target these areas, causing extensive environmental damage.

The bombing is part of the extensive offensive launched by the Turkish occupation state, with the participation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party forces, on the Medya defense areas and other scattered areas in S. Kurdistan since the beginning of this July, marking the beginning of its occupation of the region.
