Mount Matina in the Amdiya district of Dohuk Governorate, in Southern Kurdistan, was subjected to violent bombardment carried out by the Turkish occupation army.
Local sources, quoted by Roj news agency, reported that the bombing led to the destruction of parts of the mountainous area.
There have been no reports so far of human casualties, but the material damage was significant, as forests and the natural environment in the area were damaged.
