The Turkish military launched heavy attacks on the Dohuk Governorate in Southern Kurdistan. The raids by the Turkish occupation forces targeted the Assyrian village of Miska, destroying the village's church and several civilian homes.

A video obtained exclusively by RojNews shows the extent of the destruction inflicted on the church and civilian homes, with debris piling up around the church and the homes severely damaged by the violent shelling.

A significant number of residents from these areas have been displaced due to the Turkish attacks, exacerbating their suffering under difficult humanitarian conditions. The locals have called for urgent intervention to halt the attacks and protect civilians and religious sites from the brutal destruction by Turkish occupation forces.

The Iraqi government and the Kurdistan Regional Government, controlled by the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), which is complicit with the Turkish occupation state, ignore the suffering of the residents and the military escalation by Turkey in the region. This raises concerns about worsening humanitarian and security conditions in the afflicted area.
