Tensions between the components of the Syrian people have exacerbated the rift created by the Ba'athist regime to dismantle society. The country has reached the brink of civil war, which can only be halted by the cooperation of all components. Following the model of autonomous administration, civil peace has been achieved in northern and eastern Syria, becoming a model to be emulated and a safety valve for Syrians to preserve their shared existence.

In this regard, citizen Iqbal Al-Aran from Tabqa spoke to our agency, stating: "Since the start of the Syrian revolution, several countries intervened and created a rift between components and sects, attempting to ignite a sectarian war and derail the people's revolution. Unfortunately, many were drawn into this war, and the components and sects can no longer live together as they did before the revolution."

Iqbal added: "However, on Syrian territory, only in the areas of autonomous administration do all components, of various religions and ethnicities, live together, thanks to the autonomous administration project that grants freedom to all and maintains peace among all components. Therefore, it is crucial to extend this experience to all of Syria to stop the strife and bloodshed."

For her part, citizen Maha Al-Obeid confirmed that "the autonomous administration experience has succeeded in maintaining coexistence between components and religions because it granted each component its freedom and uniqueness without marginalizing any group in favor of another."

Maha Al-Obeid continued: "Through the project of the Democratic Nation, we stand today as brothers from all our components, hand in hand, against the Turkish occupation that seeks to undermine our unity. We call on our brothers across Syria to join us in this coexistence and preserve it."

For his part, citizen Ahmad Al-Sayel from Tabqa pointed out that "the previous regime claimed to protect minorities, but it sowed division among the people. Continuing in the same manner as the previous regime is no longer effective, as the rift between sects, religions, and ethnicities has become large. There is an urgent need for a project that brings everyone together without exclusion or marginalization and respects the uniqueness of each component."

Al-Sayel emphasized that "the experience of autonomous administration and its success in northern and eastern Syria is the optimal solution for managing a diverse society like the Syrian one. It is the safety valve for maintaining civil peace, away from killing, terrorism, and revenge."
