Israeli forces targeted agricultural land on the outskirts of Hamidiyah village in the Quneitra countryside today with an artillery shell. No casualties were reported.

The attack comes amid continued Israeli military activity in the Quneitra countryside and southern Syria, including artillery shelling, ground incursions and the establishment of temporary checkpoints. The developments have raised concerns over their impact on residents and farmers, as well as civilian movement in areas near the separation line.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said it had documented around 84 Israeli attacks on Syrian territory since the beginning of 2026, including six airstrikes and 78 ground attacks. The attacks resulted in the destruction of 13 targets, including weapons and ammunition depots, headquarters, facilities and vehicles.
