Al-Shaddadi Administrators: Leader Ocalan’s call is roadmap for peace

Administrators in the city of Al-Shaddadi have affirmed that the call for peace and a democratic society issued by leader Ocalan constitutes an appeal to rescue the Middle East and serves as a roadmap for the peace process in the region.

 On February 27, a delegation from the Equality and Peoples' Democracy Party met with leader Abdullah Ocalan at Imrali Prison. Following the meeting, a press conference was held, during which the historic appeal of the leader was read, calling for peace and a democratic society.

 In this context, Eman Ramadan, the administrator in the Al-Shaddadi City Council in Jazira Canton, commented on the message, stating:"The call for peace is not new to the international leader Abdullah Ocalan. He has always advocated for peace, coexistence, and the realization of equality and justice for all peoples."

 Eman Ramadan emphasized that this appeal strengthens the people's determination in their struggle, adding:

"We will continue our resistance until this goal is achieved, for our freedom cannot be realized without achieving the leader's freedom."

 Meanwhile, Mehidi Al-Dugheim, the official in the Democratic Union Party, highlighted the regional significance of the message, stating: "The message of leader Abdullah Ocalan is a call to save the Middle East and an appeal for peace that encompasses all components of society. It is based on democracy, which is built upon a shared history and culture."

 Al-Dugheim further noted:"This initiative is historic; it serves as a roadmap for the peace process in the Middle East and is part of a democratic course aimed at ensuring stability and peaceful coexistence among peoples."

 The leader’s appeal is seen as a pivotal moment amid the ongoing tensions in the Middle East, reflecting his vision for fundamental solutions rooted in freedom, democracy, and coexistence.
