In response to the attack on towns in the eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside, the co-chair of the Syrian Democratic Council, Mahamoud al-Masalat, described the assault as divisive and aimed at destabilizing the region's security and stability.

He added, "We have worked and continue to work to create a Syrian-Syrian dialogue and national reconciliation across all Syrian geography. This barbaric attack is proof that the regime and its mercenaries do not seek peace or dialogue."

Al-Masalat praised the significant and heroic role of the Syrian Democratic Forces and internal security forces for repelling these attacks and maintaining the region's security and stability.

He also extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs and wished a speedy recovery to all the injured. He added, "We hope all our tribes will stand united to confront the sedition, terrorism, and barbaric attacks aimed at destabilizing our region."
