Reading Leader Ocalan’s message to Jineology in Deir ez-Zor
Leader Abdullah Ocalan’s message addressed to Jineology was read during an event in Deir ez-Zor, where participants reaffirmed their commitment to continue the struggle for their rights and for the physical freedom of the Leader.
The Zenobia Women’s Gathering organized the event at the People’s Council Hall in the city of Hajin, in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, to read the latest message sent by Leader Abdullah Ocalan to Jineology. The event was attended by dozens of participants, including representatives from local councils, women’s committees, and civil institutions.
The session began with a moment of silence, followed by a welcoming speech delivered by Amira Al-Ahmad, a member of the training committee at the gathering. She emphasized the growing role of women in various fields of life, noting that the achievements made were the result of engagement with the thought and philosophy of Leader Abdullah Ocalan.
In her speech, Amira Al-Ahmad stressed the need for women to continue strengthening their presence despite the challenges the country is facing, stating that women’s representation in decision-making positions is no longer a choice but a necessity.
For her part, Safa Al-Ahmad, an administrator at the gathering, said that Leader Abdullah Ocalan considers women’s liberation a fundamental condition for the liberation of society. He calls for changing the prevailing patriarchal mindset through education and awareness. She added that empowering women politically, economically, and socially would pave the way for policies that reflect their aspirations.
Safa Al-Ahmad emphasized that the Leader’s philosophy calls on women not to surrender to oppression and discrimination, and that their struggle is an expression of a will capable of bringing about change, even under the harshest conditions.
The participants concluded by expressing their gratitude to Leader Abdullah Ocalan and reaffirmed their commitment to continue the struggle to achieve their rights and secure the leader’s physical freedom.
