Special conference kicks off in Qamishlo on the “Co-Presidency” system
A special conference on the “Co-Presidency” system is currently being held in the city of Qamishlo, NE Syria, with the attendance of figures and representatives from political and military organizations as well as institutions of the Democratic Autonomous Administration.
The special conference on the “Co-Presidency” system kicked off moments ago in Azadi Park in Qamishlo city.
The conference, organized by the Kongra Star, is attended by figures and representatives from political and military organizations, institutions of the Autonomous Administration in the region, and civil society organizations.
The conference includes a presentation of the concept of the Kurdistan Women’s System regarding the forms, significance, reasons, and understanding of the “Co-Presidency” system, along with discussions on this system, the reasons for its adoption, its necessities, and an evaluation of its implementation in North and East Syria, according to the organizing committee.
This conference is part of a series of events organized by the Kongra Star in North and East Syria and other areas in Syria to discuss the “Co-Presidency” system.
This system is one of the main principles of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria and has been adopted by the peoples of the region since the start of the July 19 Revolution (Rojava Revolution).
The “Co-Presidency” system is a cornerstone of the Democratic Nation system, through which equality, justice, and democracy are realized. It forms a foundation for building a shared life, while the struggle continues to build a free, democratic, and ecological society led by women.
