Mass march in Tal Brak demands physical freedom for Leader Ocalan
Hundreds of residents from the city of Tal Brak and its countryside took part in a massive march demanding the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, affirming their continued struggle until their demand is achieved.
The march, organized today by Kongra Star in Tal Brak in the Jazira Canton, saw the participation of hundreds of residents from the city and surrounding areas, along with members of civil and military institutions and representatives of political parties.
The march began at the western entrance of the city and proceeded through the main street. Participants carried photos of Leader Abdullah Ocalan and chanted slogans such as "No Life Without the Leader" and "Long Live the Resistance of Imrali."
Upon reaching the Internal Security Forces roundabout, participants observed a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs. Then, Zahra Mutlaq, a member of Kongra Star in Tal Brak, delivered a speech in which she stressed that the struggle would continue until the full physical freedom of the Leader is achieved.
She added: "The thought of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, the theory of democratic nationhood, and the brotherhood of peoples offer the best solution to the problems of the Middle East. Therefore, continuing the struggle is a duty until the Leader attains his physical freedom."
Zahra Mutlaq emphasized that "the physical freedom of the Leader is a fundamental part of the political struggle and the issue of human rights," calling on the Turkish occupation authorities and other governments to recognize the Kurdish people's political and cultural rights and adopt a comprehensive democratic approach to social issues.
She also urged the international community to take the issue of Leader Abdullah Ocalan seriously, to work toward lifting the system of torture and annihilation imposed on him, to grant him the legitimate "Right to Hope," and to pressure the Turkish occupation authorities to implement this.
The march concluded with chants condemning the policies of isolation and torture and affirming resistance, most notably: "Long Live the Leader’s Resistance."
