HPG: Turkish occupation bombed our areas 1,088 times in 72 hours

Today, the Media Center of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) issued a statement regarding the attacks by the Turkish occupation army on the Medya Defense Zones. The statement read:

"On behalf of the Kurdistan Freedom Fighters, we first congratulate the families of our martyrs and our patriotic people on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. We hope that this holiday will be a means of unity, goodness, and social solidarity.

The Turkish occupation army continued its attacks on Gêrîla forces without interruption throughout the month of Ramadan, which coincided with the ceasefire declared by our party, the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), on March 1. Our forces provided the necessary response to defend themselves against these attacks.

The following are details of the attacks:

Turkish occupation forces' warplane attacks:

On March 27, 28, and 29, Turkish warplanes bombed the squares of Zanjal Hill, Kon Hill, Darya Harj, Haftebagh, Kani Sark, and Kafia Plain seven times, the resistance square on Bahar Hill in the martyr Dalil area west of Zap four times, and the resistance square in Beşil in the Metina area once, a total of 12 attacks.

Turkish occupation army attacks with heavy weapons, shells, and artillery:

On March 28 and 29, the resistance areas in Brizin, Sinin, Kandkula, and Lolan in the Khakrok region were bombed 121 times; the areas in Sisir Hill, Zengal Hill, Diraş, Kon Hill, Sidar Hill, Kani Sark, Mejeh, and Karkaş in the Gari region were bombed 42 times; the resistance areas in Seri Metina, Beşil, and Shilaze in the Metina region were bombed 44 times; the resistance areas in Bahar Hill and Amediya Hill in the martyr Dalil region west of Zap were bombed 869 times, a total of 1,076 times

Our Forces' Intervention in the Attacks:

On March 27, at 7:05 AM, our forces intervened with semi-automatic weapons against enemy army movements that attacked the war tunnels in the resistance square on Amediya Hill in the martyr Dalil area west of Zap.

On March 28, at 3:05 PM, our forces intervened with semi-automatic weapons against enemy army movements that attacked the war tunnels in the resistance square on Amediya Hill in the martyr Dalil area west of Zap.

On March 29, at 10:40 AM, female fighters of the Free Women's Units intervened with semi-automatic weapons against enemy army movements that attacked the war tunnels in the resistance square on Amediya Hill in the martyr Dalil area west of Zap.
