Yazidi Women's Union in Rojava extends its congratulations to Muslim nation

On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, the Yazidi Women's Union in Rojava issued a congratulatory telegram, offering its best wishes and blessings for the occasion.

The congratulatory telegram, a copy of which was received by ANHA agency, reads:

"Muslims around the world celebrate Eid al-Fitr, which follows the holy month of Ramadan and represents one of the greatest holidays in the Islamic faith. On this occasion, we, at the Yazidi Women's Union in Rojava, extend our warmest congratulations and best wishes to the entire Islamic nation."

We hope that Eid will be a means of peace and love, far removed from extremism and destruction, and that we may live together, with our diverse components, beliefs, and ethnicities, in an atmosphere of coexistence and a shared destiny within a single geographic area.

We also take advantage of this occasion to call for the language of peaceful dialogue in Syria, for fair representation of all components and religions, and for women to play a leading and historic role in leading their society toward prosperity and development.
