Dismantling a mine placed on a bridge in Deir ez-Zor
The Internal Security Forces in Deir ez-Zor canton deactivated a mine placed on a bridge and removed it without recording any damage.
According to the media center of the Internal Security Forces, the explosives experts unit of the Public Security Service succeeded today in dismantling and neutralizing an anti-armor mine that was placed on the Jadid Akidat bridge, east of Deir ez-Zor.
The center indicated that a security cordon was imposed around the site and vehicle traffic was cut off. The specialized teams worked to remove the mine successfully without recording any damage, and combed and uncovered the surrounding area to confirm that it was free of any explosive objects.
