Education Body in Raqqa prepares for preparatory and secondary exams
The Education Authority of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in Raqqa continues to register students for the preparatory and secondary certificate examinations based on its own curriculum. Simultaneously, examination centers are being equipped with all necessary logistical requirements.

The Education Authority of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in Raqqa Governorate, within the Autonomous Region of North and East Syria, is preparing to administer examinations for preparatory and secondary certificates, in both literary and scientific streams.
In a statement to ANHA Agency regarding the latest preparations, Mr. Muhammad Ali, the Co-Chair of the Education Authority, noted that the Education Committee, in coordination with the Examination Office, continues to accept registration applications for both levels. He confirmed that registration for independent students is still open and that a closing date will be announced in due course.
To date, approximately 760 students have registered, including around 150 at the preparatory level.
Mr. Ali further stated that the examinations for independent students will begin on June 14 and continue until June 27. Two examination centers have been equipped with all required logistical materials, supervising staff, and a question bank currently being developed by the Education Authority in coordination with the Guidance Office.
He clarified that regular students, numbering around 500, are subject to an evaluation system based on their academic performance over previous school years. This system differentiates them from independent ones, whose success depends primarily on their final examination results.
Mr. Ali also highlighted that the Education Authority had organized training sessions for regular students in recent months to help them adapt to the evaluation mechanism. These efforts were carried out in coordination with the Education Authority of the Autonomous Region of North and East Syria, which also plays a role in determining examination schedules and overseeing implementation according to a unified directive circulated to all school administrations to ensure compliance.
Lastly, the Co-Chair pointed to the possibility of opening an additional examination center should the number of students increase significantly, noting that only one center was established during the previous academic year.
