Female students from the rural areas of Girkê Legê rejected the Ministry of Education's decision to limit Kurdish language instruction to three periods per week. They emphasized that Kurdish is their mother tongue and their identity, and that limiting its instruction to a small number of periods does not fulfill their right to learn in their own language. They stressed, "We do not accept limiting the teaching of our mother tongue to three periods per week" (photos and video attached).

The Kurdish Language Foundation confirmed that limiting Kurdish language instruction to three periods per week does not allow students to learn its grammar and complete the literature curriculum. It indicated that teaching grammar requires approximately six periods per week and warned that the future of thousands of students is now threatened (photos and video attached).

More than 300 contract teachers in the rural areas of Hama Governorate face the risk of losing their jobs after the Education Complex refused to renew their contracts, claiming they "do not meet the new approved conditions," even though most of these contract date back to 2020 and earlier (photos attached).
