Israeli incursion into rural Quneitra coincides with heavy air activity over Daraa

An Israeli force has entered the village of Taranja in the northern countryside of Quneitra, coinciding with intensive warplane and reconnaissance aircraft activity over Daraa, amid continued military movements in southern Syria.

An Israeli force consisting of military vehicles carrying soldiers entered the village of Taranja in the northern countryside of Quneitra today, coinciding with intensive flights by Israeli warplanes over Daraa Governorate.

The aerial activity was concentrated over the Yarmouk Basin and areas adjacent to the border, alongside Israeli ground incursions into several areas of southern Syria.

These movements come amid repeated Israeli military activity in the southern areas, raising a state of concern and anxiety among residents of villages and towns near the border, particularly as the ground movements have coincided with flights by warplanes and reconnaissance aircraft.

Earlier today, an Israeli patrol entered the village of Bariqa in the Quneitra countryside, where it raided and searched a house. There were no reports of arrests.
