The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published a report stating that 178 people, including 6 children and 13 women, were killed in various incidents such as "deliberate killings, clashes, family disputes, and shelling" during the past month in Damascus government areas.

The report also mentioned the abduction of 125 people in several areas, including Aleppo, Homs, Daraa, As-Suwayda, Damascus, Tartus, Deir ez-Zor, Hama, and Latakia.

Crimes, killings, and abductions are widespread in areas under the control of the Damascus government due to the prevailing security chaos and deteriorating living conditions.
