“The Ottoman plots are endless, the Adana Agreement concluded by Turkey with Syria in 1998 is an example of this, and this agreement is still in effect until this day. The same applies to the agreement concluded between Iraq and Turkey on August 15. They secretly agreed and what they are doing now is the content of this agreement" Salih Muslim told ANHA Agency.

Muslim pointed out that this agreement completely violates Iraqi sovereignty.

“Their land has been occupied, and yet they say to the Turkish state, ‘Let’s sign!’ They are legitimizing the Turkish occupation, and of course, the sovereignty of southern Kurdistan has been completely violated" Muslim added.

Salih Muslim recalled the policy of the Turkish Republic against the Kurds, pointing out that this policy is based on eliminating the Kurds and highlighted the dangers facing the Kurds, noting that the issue is not related to any party.

Muslim made the point clear that "The Turkish state aims to eliminate the Kurds, and it is plotting plans for that purpose and seeking to implement new plans,  the Misak-ı Millî  is one of them, for this reason it is retracting its previous statements, especially what it said regarding the Damascus government. So the issue is not related to Rojava or a party, the issue is the existence of the Kurds"

Salih Muslim concluded by saying "The Kurdish people must be vigilant and cautious about these plots, that is why we call all parties to unify their positions."
