The Golden Crescent Movement for Women's Culture in the city of Hasakah made a statement, denouncing the Iraqi army's encirclement of Makhmour camp.

The statement was read in front of the movement's center in the Al-Nasserah neighborhood in Al-Hasakah city by member Sharda Othman.

The statement began: "The people of Rustam Judy camp grew up on the thought of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, so he is afraid of the resistance shown by the camp's residents."

The statement added, "The aim of the blockade imposed by the Iraqi army is to break the will of the people who reject occupation and oppression."

It called on the people in NE, Syria and women's organizations "not to stand idly by regarding the inhumane practices of the Turkish occupation and the Iraqi army."
